With reference to the letter from this Office of

the 29th ultimo I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey

to transmit herewith to be laid before Mr. Secretary

Harcourt copy of a despatch from His Majesty's Minister

at Peking respecting the projected railway from Wuchow

to Mengtzu.
